WHAT ARE THE MOST POPULAR TYPES OF MATERIAL?

LACE:Lace is very versatile and has a variety of bridal styles. Certain styles have a romantic or boho style look. Lace is quite a delicate fabric often made from yarn or thread and can often produce very detailed patterns.

MIKADO: Mikado is a a stunning fabric which is often made with a blend of silk to include a shiny finish to the eye and often has a thicker and stiffer structure. Mikado is a popular material for weddings in cooler locations.

SATIN: Satin I soften made of silk or synthetic fibres. Satin material is excellent for ruching, big ballgown skirts or sleek fit-and-flare styles. Satin fabric can sometimes be. a bit heavier in weight and can be worn year round but definitely better suited for cooler wedding locations.

TULLE: Tulle is a a great lightweight fabric option that is very suitable for warmer weather weddings. Tulle offers a sheer and open weave fabric which can be ruched and layered to give more volume. Tulle is also often used to add dimension for ruffles or a more textured skirt.

ORGANZA: Organza is a great lightweight fabric that is appears sheer. Organza fabric is made from other silk or synthetic fibres and makes for beautiful draping or can be used as a base for a lace wedding dress.

SILK: Silk is a smooth fibre material which is is made from silkworm cocoons. Silk fabric will typically have a sheen and is quite light weight.
